The Gypsea Traveller is a Hawaii Travel Agency that books various tropical destinations. The Owner, Libbi is a travel agent that lives in Hawaii. Tahiti is only a six hour flight from Hawaii, making it just as easy to fly there than California. Many people ask how to visit Bora Bora from the United States.
If you've been wondering how to visit Bora Bora, it's not that difficult. Especially with the assistance of a travel agent who understands flying to Bora Bora and transfers or water taxi's to the various resorts.
So you decided you want to visit Bora Bora for your Tahiti vacation, but now you don't know what to do there? Below are some of my recommendations for how to visit Bora Bora.
If you LOVE to snorkel or dive, then Bora Bora is the island for you. The water is the clearest we've ever been in.
If you enjoy being on a boat, you can rent your own pontoon boat with La Plage. They will give you a map and tell you the spots to visit. Then you can drive around the lagoon and enjoy the day. You might luck out and see a ton of stingrays, eagle rays and fish.
I also recommend an excursion with Bora Bora H20. They will take you to a spot where the Manta Rays are. They usually go to an Eagle Ray spot where you can get into the water with over 50 Eagle Rays. You will also get to snorkel at one or two coral gardens that have the clearest water and a million fish.
If you've been dreaming of a vacation to Tahiti and Bora Bora, but don't know where to start to plan your vacation, book your free 30 minute consultation with The Gypsea Traveller to learn more.
