Tobago was a great island and is part of Trinidad and Tobago that is right off the Venezuela coast. We chose to take a taxi to Pigeon Point Beach. The taxi cost $50 roundtrip, but we only paid $25 roundtrip a couple as we went there with another couple. The entrance fee to Pigeon Point Beach is $3.50 US per person and we paid $5 each for a beach chair. They didn't have umbrellas's but there was lots of shade. The beach was very busy that day and large excursion buses were dropping cruise passengers off so I think next time we may try to find a more secluded beach. The water was a bit milky and not super clear but we did walk a ways down the beach where it was more clear and you could see your feet. A few vendors were coming around offering snorkeling trips for $15 which some people were doing. There were restaurants with food and drinks on the beach as well as vendors for shopping for souvenirs.
